Ceremony Audio FAQs

Do you mic the bride's dress?

No, we typically do not place microphones on the bridal gown as it can be physically obtrusive and visually distracting. Placing a highly sensitive lapel microphone on the officiant and the groom is extremely effective at picking up the bride's voice during the vows.

Can you plug in a live musician's instrument?

Yes! We can often accommodate acoustic guitarists, keyboardists, or string players by plugging them directly into our mixing board for amplification. We just need to know their technical requirements in advance.

Our ceremony and reception are at different locations. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Because our ceremony audio package uses a completely secondary, standalone system, we can have both the reception venue and the ceremony site set up simultaneously, eliminating awkward breakdown and travel times.
